Pet blood bank session in Stone on 29th June

Blood bank

There’s a blood donation session with a difference in Stone on Wednesday 29th June – it’ll be pets instead of people giving their armful (or legful)!

On Wednesday 29th June Shires Vets in Eccleshall Road is holding a Pet Blood Bank donation session. This is a great way to help the lives of dogs, with a single donation helping as many as four dogs.

The dogs must be between one and eight years’ old, weigh over 25kg and be in good health. Dogs must never have travelled abroad, must have up-to-date vaccinations and must never have received a blood transfusion themselves.

If you require any more information or would like to help support the Pet Blood Bank by allowing your dog to donate, contact Gemma at Shires Vets Pets on 01785 813955.
