Commercial and charity market pitches are now available for Stone’s Christmas lights switch-on event on Thursday 20th November. Businesses and community organisations have been urged to get in touch with Stone Town Council to book a pitch.
A charge of £25 for a 3x3m pitch will be made for businesses and there is no charge for registered charities. Tables are also available at a cost of £5 each.

The Christmas lights switch-on event will get under way at 5.30pm on 20th November, with Stafford Radio again compering and Stone’s brilliant Christmas School Choir again taking part. Warwick’s Funfair will be providing rides and sideshows. There’s no word yet, though, on who will be flicking the switch.
The Christmas lights that will be turned on will be brand new ones for the town this year. Stone Town Council recently awarded a new contract for the lights to a company called Field and Lawn.
