Plodders shift that Christmas pud!

People in Stone got out into the fresh air and walked off some off the festive excess on Wednesday 28th December at Stone Lions’ Post Plum Pudding Plod in Yarnfield.

Walkers had a choice of a two or five-mile walk around the Yarnfield countryside, starting and ending at the Labour in Vain pub. All proceeds went to SAMS, the multiple sclerosis charity based in Stone, and walkers could also raise money for any charity of their choice.

The bright, crisp morning certainly attracted lots of people, many of whom stayed for a spot of lunch at the pub after the walk.
