Police appeal over purse theft suspects

Officers from Staffordshire Police have appealed to the public in Stone for their help in tracing two men suspected of stealing a woman’s purse in a town supermarket.

Police want to speak to these two men in connection with a purse theft

The offence happened on 30th September in the Co-op supermarket in the High Street, when an elderly lady had her purse stolen, which contained £65. The two suspects above are wanted in connection with the theft.

Police also released a CCTV image today of a man who is wanted in connection with the theft of alcohol from the other Co-op store in Stone, on Eccleshall Road in Walton. The offence took place on 19th October.
