A mix of plain-clothed and uniformed officers took to the streets of Stone on Saturday 8th March as part of efforts to target anti-social behaviour and drug-related issues in the town centre.

Staffordshire Police were out and about in Stone over the weekend with dedicated patrols focused on reducing anti-social behaviour and drug concerns. Officers patrolled key areas, engaging with the community and responding to reports of disorder.

During the operation, police issued several dispersal notices, requiring individuals linked to offences or concerns over their behaviour to leave the town immediately to prevent further disruption.

The patrol comes on the back of a recent collaboration between police and local high school teachers, who joined officers on patrol to tackle anti-social behaviour around Westbridge Park, the town centre, and surrounding areas. The initiative, which has been running successfully before and after school hours, has received positive engagement from young people and will continue as part of efforts to keep Stone safe.

Staffordshire Police encourage residents to report any concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour via 101Live Chat at www.staffordshire.police.uk, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

  • Kids in stone are ruthless soo disgusting bullying no apparent reason ganging up up on individuals , I had an experience with my 6 year old at the skate park youths thinking they own the place and speaking me to me and and child like dirt soo disgusting their parents need to teach them respect

  • Too late for my son after his children were gang bullied and he was terrorised by a mob of youths.
The police , pcso , parents and local authorities have failed to deal with this asb for years , dispersal orders are not sufficient, any more than 3 is classed as a gang their is mobs of them terrorising and targeting other children and the vulnerable including the mentally ill .
If this has been dealt with appropriately my son wouldn’t be in prison you all make me sick sticking plasters onto asb , safe guarding issues, you all didn’t take it seriously and now people have been injured and life’s decimated !
I’m still waiting for a response from you @staffordshirepolice regarding my complaint , dispersion of asb just moves the problem else where then they are back the next night , try some joined up thought processes between the lot of us mind you you so called professionals failed my sons kids my son and the boy who was injured , took another young person being gang beaten before you took action , disgraceful shame on you all !
