There’s a great way to start shifting all that turkey and pudding after Christmas Day this year – Stone Lions’ Post Plum Pudding Plod.
The walk takes place this year on Friday 28th December from The Greyhound at Burston, with registration between 9.30am and 11.30am. There are two marked walks – easy and, well, not so easy! – and it costs £2.50 to take part (£1 for under-18s).

All the money raised by the Lions will go to the county air ambulance. Sponsorship forms are also available and you’re welcome to raise money for any charity of your choice. Call 01785 814852 for a form. Post-walk lunches will be available at The Greyhound too.
Last year’s walk started from The Labour in Vain in Yarnfield and raised over £1,000 for local charities.
