A community group hoping to buy and reopen the former Railway Inn in Norton Bridge has announced a second open meeting later this month.
The meeting is being held to update residents on progress to date and to launch a pledge campaign. The campaign is intended to assess support for raising the finance needed to buy the pub.
It will take place on Wednesday 14 January at 7.00 pm at St Luke’s Hall.

Open invitation to the community
The organisers say the meeting is open to anyone who would like to find out more about the project and the next steps.
In information shared locally, the group describes the bid as a “once in a generation opportunity” to purchase and reopen the Railway Inn and secure its future.
The pledge campaign is being launched alongside the progress update, giving residents a chance to show their level of support for the project.
