Real ale fans enjoy mini festival in The Swan’s beer garden

Twelve Staffordshire real ales are on offer in The Swan's beer garden

A dozen real ales from Staffordshire were available in The Swan’s beer garden today as the boozer’s mini real ale festival got off to a great start.

Beers on offer in the Food & Drink Festival special event include Lymestone Brewery’s new honey beer, Stone Brood; Backyard Brewery’s East India Pale Ale; Slater’s Why Not; and Blythe Brewery’s Staffe.

All cost £2.50 a pint or £1.25 for a half. You can also buy burgers and other food in the beer garden.

Throughout the weekend, brewers from many of the breweries are on hand to chat to drinkers about their ales. The mini beer festival continues on Sunday.
