You can’t beat a real Christmas tree. The smell, the tradition, the sheer joy of decorating it ready for the festive season.
You may have seen the Christmas tree signs around the town, on the ring road, the Walton roundabout and elsewhere.
If you want a real Christmas tree this year, just follow them!
They’ll lead you to the A34, just behind Target Windows opposite the community fire station, where Rob and Steph Bailey are once again delivering a bit of Christmas to homes all across Stone.
You’ll find a huge selection of high quality cut and potted trees there. And Rob and Steph – who are now in their fourth year of selling Christmas trees in Stone – really are ‘delivering’ – there’s free delivery on all trees if you live within five miles.
[box type=”shadow” ]”It’s one of the best things about it for us,” Rob said. “You feel like you’re delivering a little bit of Christmas into people’s homes! Often, there’s children at the window as I arrive, so excited to be getting their tree. It’s really lovely.”[/box]
If you buy a tree, you’ll also be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning a big Christmas hamper (the draw will be made on 20th December).
The first consignment of trees arrived on Wednesday and four have already been snapped up. But don’t worry, there are regular deliveries from Bishops Offley and a farm in Cheshire.
[box type=”info” ]You can get your Christmas tree from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays
