Road closure for level crossing work

Part of Mount Road will be closed overnight in September to allow work to take place on the level crossing near the Talbot pub.

A traffic order from Staffordshire County Council will close Mount Road for 20 metres either side of the level crossing overnight on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th September. Work to repair “overhead equipment” at the level crossing will start at 11pm and finish by 6.30am the following morning.

The order states that emergency service vehicles will be able to get through and that pedestrian access will be maintained.
