A motorcyclist was taken to hospital this morning following a collision with a van on the A34 in Stone.

The accident happened just after 7am near Yarnfield Lane and The Wayfarer and involved a silver VW van and a red motorbike. One lane of the northbound A34 was closed. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered head and arm injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
