Santa sleigh tour of Stone – where will he be?

Stone’s Christmas lights are shining bright, festive adverts are on the telly and we’ve had our first snowfall of the year – so it’s time to reveal where Santa will be heading on this year’s tour of the town!

Santa will be travelling around Stone on his sleigh in the run-up to Christmas to raise money for charity. Father Christmas is the special guest of Stone Round Table, which organises the special event each year. Keep an eye out for the man in red in the following areas from Thursday 10th December to the 20th – and please give generously. Stone Round Table raises thousands of pounds each year through the Santa sleigh event, which all goes to local good causes.

Santa and his sleigh will be out and about for around two hours each day on these dates:

Sunday 13th from 4pm: Pirehill and Walton

Tuesday 15th from 6pm: Saxifrage and Copeland Drive

Saturday 19th: Cherryfields from 4pm; Whitebridge from 6pm

Sunday 20th from 4.30pm: Aston Lodge[/box]

Eccleshall Mercia Rotary Club are also heading out with their Santa sleigh. Mr Claus will be out and about from 6pm to 8pm on the following dates (and 4.30pm to 7pm on the Christmas Eve one):

Monday 7th – Tittensor

Monday 14th – Swynnerton

Saturday 19th – Yarnfield (5.30pm to 8pm, then at the Labour in Vain until 8.30pm)

Monday 21st – Eccleshall East (Stone Road side)

Wednesday 23rd – Eccleshall Central (Stafford Rd – Newport Rd triangle)

Thursday 24th – Eccleshall West (School side of Newport Rd)
