A supporter of Douglas Macmillan Hospice from Stone whose husband was cared for by their nurses at the end of his life has thrown her support behind their Sunshine Raffle.
Sheila Moore, aged 77, was supported by Dougie Mac’s Hospice at Home team when her husband John was diagnosed with incurable cancer. He had previously had kidney cancer, which was removed, but it came back in 2002 and spread throughout his entire body.

Donna Adams, Lottery head, added: “We’d like to thank Sheila for sharing her story and for supporting this year’s Sunshine Raffle. All monies raised from our Sunshine Raffle will help Dougie Mac continue to care for local people and their families facing a life limiting illness.”
The Dougie Mac Sunshine Raffle offers supporters a chance to win a top prize of £7,500 or a brand new MG3 3Time. Tickets cost just £1 each and can be purchased online HERE
