Organisations in Stone that help people to live healthy, independent lives and who want to reach thousands of people for free have been urged to sign up to the Staffordshire Cares Purple Pages.
Staffordshire Cares will be launching in June, giving people living with a disability, other health challenges or those just simply getting that bit older an easier way to find information and advice to help them maintain their independence.
The Staffordshire Cares Purple Pages will be the place on the Staffordshire Cares website for people to browse the details about organisations offering products, services and activities to help people live a healthier, safer and more active life.
County Councillor Matthew Ellis, Cabinet Member for Adult’s Wellbeing, said: “We’ve been working on Staffordshire Cares for the last 12 months. It will be a revolution in the ability of Staffordshire people to plan ahead as their individual health circumstances change, as well as providing easy access to local and national advice, information and services.
“The rollout of Staffordshire Cares starts this June and will be available via an interactive website as well as through a new single telephone number where people can speak to Staffordshire Cares advisors. There will also be information points in popular locations right across Staffordshire as well as face to face information and advice in local areas.”
Signing up to the Purple Pages is free. Click here to sign up. Staffordshire Cares will be launched in June.
