Stone Dominoes LFC continued their fine run of form to come from behind to beat Bradwell 6-1 in the Staffordshire County Women’s League.

Stone went into the game with a full squad so manager Ash Thompson had no choice but to rotate the squad giving equal playing time to all. The first half was sloppy from the Dominoes and Bradwell (currently sat in fourth place in the league) with the long ball over the defence were soon causing trouble.
Bradwell found themselves 1-0 up after Stone left unmarked players on the edge of the box, but this was the kick-start the Dominoes needed and they soon began to dominate possession. On the stroke of half time, a corner from Kerry McCourt gave Lauren Ward an opportunity to head home and get the much-deserved equaliser.
The second half saw Bradwell sit back and with the whole of Stone’s midfield changed, it made a big impact. Laura Baskerville and Nat Price were on top form and ruled the midfield.
Goals soon started to come, strikers Mollie Prime and Hannah Woolful-Smith both netting twice and central defender Hayley Mason getting in on the goals too.
Player of the match – Nat Price
Stone take on Bradwell again next week away in the league cup.
