‘Slaves’ will be auctioned off as part of a charity day at The Talbot in Station Road to raise money for the Donna Louise Trust.
The day kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 7th October with a general auction of pottery, furniture, glassware and other items.
The slave auction starts at 6pm, with each slave offering four hours of their skills and time to winning bidders. Plumbers, painters, electricians, cleaners and other slaves will be up for auction.
At 7pm there’s a Motown/Northern Soul disco and at 9pm local band Central Reservation will be playing live. There’ll also be raffles and fundraising games throughout the day.
It’s looking like a great day to raise money for a very worthy cause. Call Mo at the pub on 01785 814632 if you have items you’d like to donate for the general auction – or if you’d like to be auctioned as a slave!
