Special award for Mr Finlay from Alleyne’s

Congratulations to Graham Finlay, head of history at Alleyne’s High School, who has been recognised for his “outstanding leadership and dedication” to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme at the school.

Mr Finlay received his ‘Celebration of people who volunteer’ award at a ceremony hosted by Staffordshire County Council at St George’s Park in Burton earlier this month. A school spokesman said: “We are very grateful and proud of Mr Finlay for his long term support to the school and this award is a testament to his hard work and commitment.”
