Specsavers Stone has rallied the local community to support Stone Community Hub with donations of food and essential supplies.
Throughout October, the team at Specsavers on the High Street welcomed customers and locals to contribute to their in-store collection box. Donations of long-life food items and toiletries were gathered to aid Stone Community Hub, which works tirelessly to support families facing hardship.
Anoop Bains, store director at Specsavers Stone, shared his gratitude:
“We’re proud to support Stone Community Hub, and we are so grateful for the generosity we’ve received from our community. A big thank you to our customers for contributing essential items – we look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting the Hub’s impactful work.”
Stone Community Hub’s vital role
Stone Community Hub operates from the Frank Jordan Community Centre on Lichfield Street, where volunteers provide emergency food parcels every weekday morning (excluding Thursdays). Their work ensures families have access to nutritious meals during difficult times.
The Hub’s support goes beyond food – they also provide advice, guidance, and other essential resources to help those in need.
