Spring Diamond Jubilee concert

Stone Choral Society are making an early start in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with their next concert, ‘Coronation Anthems’.

The society will celebrate the lead-up to the Diamond Jubilee with an evening of music composed for the royal family, including Handel’s four Coronation Anthems and Purcell’s birthday ode for Queen Mary, Come Ye Sons of Art. Conductor is Charlie Penn with an orchestral accompaniment.

The concert is being held on Saturday 24th March at Christ Church, Christchurch Way, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10, concessions £8, children free, and are available from Wikijum or Plants the Jewellers in the High Street, or by calling Stone 01785 817754.
