St Dom’s girls win badminton titles

Pupils from St Dominic’s Priory School in Stone won the Girls U14 and U16 titles at the Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership Badminton Finals earlier this month.

The Girls U14 and U16 titles took place at St Doms and the pupils made the home advantage count.

The St Doms teams took on Blessed William Howard in both finals. The Under 16 title proved a very close affair with St Dominic’s proving stronger with a 3-2 victory. The Under 14 team from St Dominic’s were too strong a match for Blessed William Howard and triumphed 5-0. Both St Doms teams now progress to the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Finals next year.
