Stone 2017 Christmas Lights Switch On

This years Christmas lights switch on will take place on Thursday 16th November

A highlight for Stone families is the annual Christmas lights swtich on, fair and market.  Stone Town Council have once again planned an evening of family fun to kick off the festive celebrations.

The evening will start off at 5pm and the High Street and Market Square will have its usual selection of food stalls and Warwicks Fun Fair Rides.

The running order for the evening is:

  • 5.00pm – the evening kicks off
  • 5.30pm – Olivia Shipley
  • 6.00pm – Stone’s Combined Schools Choir
  • 6.30pm – Josie Oliver
  • 7.00pm – Lights Switch-on

Olivia and Josie are two local young musicians who will be performing for the festive Stone crowd.

The Christmas lights themselves will be switched on by the winner of the Stone Town Christmas Card competition, which pupils from local schools have been invited to enter, Stone Town Mayor and Father Christmas.
