Stone charity fundraiser for Lost Scenes

Stone band Lost Scene’s Cycle Gigathon gets under way on Saturday 12th November which will see the band cycle 200 miles and perform over 30 gigs in just six days! And they’ll be playing a special gig in Stone as part of the charity marathon.

As part of their tour, Lost Scenes will play a special fundraising concert half-way through their marathon effort at the Crown and Anchor on Tuesday 15th November. As well as Lost Scenes and other bands, there will be a raffle to raise even more money for Children in Need. Raffle items include a signed Stoke City ball and Moddershall Oaks spa voucher.

Here’s their schedule:

  • Friday 11th November: Full preparation day and journey to starting point
  • Saturday 12th November: Official event start at BBC London, then onto Aylesbury, Bicester Designer Village, and Oxford
  • Sunday 13th November: Stratford-Upon-Avon and Worcester
  • Monday 14th November: Worcester, Droitwich and Birmginham
  • Tuesday 15th November: Wolverhampton, Stafford and Stone – * Official Fundraising Gig at the Crown and Anchor in Stone, over four acts playing and some fantastic raffle prizes to be won
  • Wednesday 16th November: Amerton Farm, The lounge (Stone), *BBC Radio Stoke live interview* Trentham Gardens and Newcastle-Under-Lyme
  • Thursday 17th November: Talke, Congleton, Alderley Edge and Didsbury
  • Friday 18th November: Stockport, Manchester, Event finish at BBC Manchester.

You can text ‘LOST55’ followed by a desired amount (eg £5 or £10) to 70070 if you’d like to support the band and help them raise £5,000 for Children in Need. The band also recorded Lullaby, a fundraising single for the event, which you can buy from iTunes.
