Stone Community Hub’s AGM reveals level of local support

Stone Community HubLast week, Stone Community Hub, held its Annual General Meeting for the year 2022 to 2023 where attendees heard about the vital support the hub has provided to the Stone community.

Gill Wyatt (Chair of Trustees) reported that during 2022 – 2023 period, Stone Community Hub (SCH) had provided the following services:

  • 3,760 1-2-1 help sessions
  • 1,182 food parcels
  • 402 two-course meals
  • Helped 71 clients apply for work
  • Provided a warm welcoming environment six days a week for 190 families.

The hub was supported by the local community, through the provision of roughly £58,000 in food donations and 1,446 hours of volunteer time. The trustees and manager thanked all the volunteers, staff, SCH members and members of the public for their time and donations throughout the year, without which the hub could not operate.
