Stone Dominoes LFC

Stone Dominoes LFC marched into the semi-finals of the Staffordshire Ladies County Cup and continued their unbeaten 2015/16 season with a comprehensive victory at Brereton Town.

They will play either Stoke City, Sporting Khalsa or Bradwell Belles in the semi-final.

The Brereton keeper made three fine saves in the first five minutes as Stone started strongly. She couldn’t stop a fierce shot from right-back Simone Kelsall in the eighth minute, though, as Stone took the lead. A free kick from midfielder Jules Kendrick put Stone 2-0 up and they were cruising. Siobhan Haynes got her first of the season on the 23rd minute after some quick short passing with left- winger Tammi Bennett to put the game out of sight by half-time.

Mollie Prime netted on the 49th minute with another of her trademark finishes, taking her to 14 goals this season.
