Stone Dominoes LFC Under-16s made it through to the semi-finals of the League Cup with a 1-0 victory against Whitchurch Girls at Wellbeing Park.
Stone dominated, with a good battling performance and made it very difficult for the away team to gain any chances and took possession of the ball, going in with some great tackles and defensive work off the ball. Despite all the possession, the Whitchurch defence held firm, restricting the strikers to few chances.

The Dominoes were awarded a penalty so up stepped Chloe Luty, smashing it into the net and giving the keeper no chance.
Overall a great performance from the girls and are now through to the semi-final of the cup. Player of the match was Jodie Flowers for another quality performance.
No match for the senior ladies’ team last weekend. They travel to Leek CSOB Ladies on Sunday 23rd November, 2pm kick-off.
