An early morning Staffordshire Police intelligence-led drugs operation resulted in three arrests
Police officers stopped a red Honda Civic on the A34 Darlaston Road at around 4:35am this morning.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“A 29-year-old woman from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon.
“Two men from Stoke-on-Trent were also arrested; a 33-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and a 51-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and driving under the influence of drugs.”
Police recovered a dagger, baton, golf club, sharpened wooden sword and a large quantity of drugs from the vehicle.
The offenders remain in police custody and enquiries are on-going.
