Parents from Stone whose daughter is being treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital after she developed leukaemia are supporting the hospital’s big fundraising campaign.

The Big Bandage is urging people to wear a bandage to work or school on Friday 11th July to raise money for the hospital.

And Karen Moon and her daughter Phoebe feature in some of the posters for the campaign. Little Phoebe was treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital last year when she was diagnosed with leukaemia. Phoebe, aged five, will be a regular visitor at the hospital for the next couple of years as her treatment continues.

Thousands of pounds were raised in Stone late last year for the hospital in a number of fundraisers. Karen even had her head shaved to raise as much money as she could. Click HERE to see all our stories about Phoebe.
