Hundreds of businesses in Stone are now featured on a new website which aims to boost local trade across Staffordshire.
The free-to-join site gives firms across the county the chance to promote themselves and provide opportunities to trade with other local businesses as well as public sector organisations like councils. More than 30,000 businesses across Staffordshire are registered on the new-look Think Local 4 Business site, including almost 1,000 from the Stone area.
The website provides networking opportunities and will also have information on support for businesses, as well as news and events.
The ‘Think Local’ project encourages firms to source goods and services within the area and has given easy access to local companies through its online business directory.
The initiative has been funded by Stafford Borough Council with support from Stafford Chamber of Commerce. Have a look at the Think Local 4 Business site here.
