This Christmas, Stone residents are being called upon to help bring a little extra joy to children in need, thanks to an initiative by Price & Stubbs Family Funeral Directors.
Anthony, a funeral director at Price & Stubbs, reached out to A Little Bit of Stone about their gift collection campaign to support the Donna Louise Hospice. The campaign aims to bring smiles to children’s faces by ensuring they receive a special gift this Christmas.
The community-focused funeral directors, located on Mill Street in Stone, are working with local churches to provide convenient drop-off points for donations.
How to get involved
Stone residents can donate new and unwrapped Christmas presents suitable for boys and girls of all ages. These donations will then be delivered to the Donna Louise Hospice, where they’ll make a real difference to families this festive season.
Gift drop-off points are located at:
- St Michael’s Church
Church Street, Stone, ST15 8BD - St Saviour’s Church
Church Lane, Aston-by-Stone, ST15 0BJ - Price & Stubbs Family Funeral Directors
Mill Street, Stone, ST15 8BA
A message from Anthony
Speaking about the initiative, Anthony said:
“We want to bring the Stone community together to make Christmas magical for children who need it most. Every gift, no matter how small, will help spread joy and show the true spirit of Christmas.”
Supporting the Donna Louise Hospice
The Donna Louise Hospice supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions and provides essential services to their families. By donating a gift, Stone residents can directly contribute to this important cause.
