“Members of our team took up the challenge of tidying various areas of Stone and worked with the other parties to ensure maximum effectiveness, from Whitebridge to Walton. It is this level of cooperation that can ensure a better environment, in this instance, but also in future projects could deliver continued improvements in the town and surrounding areas.

It is something that Stone Town Conservatives would like to continue and work with our associates despite differing political views. Working together is clearly the way forward especially after recent events and it demonstrates a common goal, to Realise Stone’s Potential.”

Alec Sandiford, Vice-Chair, Stafford and Stone Liberal Democrats said

“I’m delighted to work cross-party with both Stone Town Conservatives and Stone Labour, in tackling issues that affect everyone in Stone. We may not politically agree on everything, but it’s really refreshing to see people put party politics to one side for the benefit of the community.

With the Covid-19 crisis we all face, pulling together and helping each other is more important than ever.”

A fantastic well done from us to everyone who took part int he initiative to clean up Stone!
