Stone in Bloom will join other RHS In Bloom groups throughout the UK in launching their campaign for 2015 on Saturday 18th April.
This year’s theme is ‘Greener Streets Better Lives’ and the RHS hopes to convert 9,000 concrete and derelict grey areas to a green space with the help of In Bloom groups throughout the country.
You are welcome to join Stone in Bloom with their launch on Saturday at Stone station at 3pm. The Stone in Bloom group will invite you to scatter a handful of wildflower seeds to create a wonderful area of colour which will greet passengers arriving in Stone by rail. The first five children to arrive at the station on Saturday will be presented with a free bird box. Refreshments will be served in the station from 3pm.
Stone in Bloom will be going for gold again this year in the Heart of England in Bloom competition. Last year, the group won its eighth gold medal in a row for the town.
