Members of Stone in Bloom will be reflecting on another great year at their AGM on 30th November – and making plans for their 20th anniversary year in 2o11.
The annual general meeting takes place at the community centre at Stone railway station at 7pm, followed by a full group meeting. Anyone interested in the work of Stone in Bloom or who wants to get involved is welcome to attend.
Stone in Bloom won Gold for the third year running in this year Heart of England in Bloom awards, with Stonefield Park awarded a special merit award.
The group is totally dependent upon raising its own funding and relies entirely upon volunteers to turn out on work parties to make Stone look neat and tidy for the judges each July. Log on to their website here for more information and to get involved.
