Stone Ladies HC Firsts’ final game was played on a glorious Saturday at their home pitch on Enson Lane against Bridgnorth .
Stone had a nervous first half after conceding 2 goals but soon started their come back fight with a goal of their own from Megan Sanders.
In the second half, Stone came out fighting, inevitably resulting in an equaliser from Annie Holmes, quickly followed by another goal from Annie to make it 3:2.

Stone continued to increase their control over the game but in the closing stages, Bridgnorth scored a controversial penalty, with the final score finishing as 3:3.
Stone Ladies finished 2nd over all in the league, their highest position in recent years.
