Staffordshire police have released the following statement in relation to the death of 22 year old Connan McLeod in Stone.

MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER:
A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder, following a detailed police investigation into the death of 22-year-old Connan McLeod, from Stone in the early hours of Saturday morning. Daniel Alllott, from Bagots Oak, Stafford is due to appear at Cannock Magistrates Court on Monday morning charged with murder.
Specially trained family liaison officers continue to support Connan’s family at this difficult time, and detectives have repeated their thanks to the public for their support during the investigation.
