On Saturday 13th July, Stone’s Market Square will be filled with music for the annual Stone Music Festival.
The event, staged by Stone Town Council, is one of a number of events on this years town events calendar.
Once again Tony Hollinshead is assisting the council in compiling a full and varied programme of entertainment, there should be something for everyone!.
The Stone Music Festival sets up stage in Stone’s Market Square, flanked by The Crown Hotel, Stone Library and The Lounge.
Busking Competition
For 2019 there’s a brand new busking competition in which the participants could win a cash prize and the opportunity to perform on the stage. Prizes for the busking competition are £75 for first, £50 for second and £25 for third place.
Places in the busking competition are limited and applications must be made by Wednesday 10th July, via the Stone Music Festival Facebook page.
The busking competition is open to all but you’ll need your own instruments and battery powered amplification if required!
The buskers will perform on the High Street from 10:00am to 11:00am with a team of independent judges selecting the winners!

- 6:30pm – Nixon Tate and the Honey Club
