After 2 years of no official Poppy Appeal in Stone, Stone co-ordinator Tracy Hall has revealed the fantastic amount that residents and visitors have donated.
Tracy Hall, the new Stone Co-ordinator, extended heartfelt thanks to all residents and visitors for their generous support.
“I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Poppy Appeal this year.
I am very grateful to those who have supported me in order to make the campaign a success.”
“The generosity of Stone residents/visitors has been amazing as we have raised £17,677.06 (though some monies are still coming in) on behalf of The Royal British Legion.
All of the monies raised will be used to support veterans, their families and serving personnel in need of support from The Royal British Legion.”
Tracey has also appealed for help with next year’s collection:
“If anyone is interested in helping me next year, please do let me know – tracyhall65@outlook.com“
