Stone racer competes in season finale

Tomorrow is the final race of the season at Darley Moor race track and the main event is The Stars of Darley.

Andrew Lowe, local Stone lad and member of Echo Racing will be competing in the 600 steel frame pre injection class on his Petronas Green Yamaha R6

Andy is welcoming all supporters and fans to the event tomorrow to watch him at his best.

Andy is in desperate need of sponsors for him to continue with this adrenalin filled sport as everything that is required to be on a race team which range from parts to the pit crew, tea and coffee supplies to entrance fees Andrew pays for all himself. This itself is becoming more difficult as only 4 years ago Andy was the victim of an horrific motorcycle accident which left him fighting to keep his leg and having the struggle of learning to walk again properly without aid.

The fact that Andy picked himself up, put himself back together and got back on a motorbike, not only to ride but to race is truly astonishing.

Anyone willing to sponsor Andrew, even if it is the supplies to feed the pit crew, the entire Echo Racing team would be extremely grateful and appreciative.

On behalf of Andy and Echo Racing we hope to see a large number of fans on the sidelines tomorrow.
