Stone Radio are looking to build their team

Stone RadioStone Radio, a brand new online radio station are actively seeking volunteers for the station as they gear up to setting a launch date!

Do you want to be part of a fun, active, friendly community project? Do you have the enthusiasm and drive to be part of the team? If you’re fun, charismatic and energetic you may be just what they’re after.

One of the station directors, Cliff Goodwin said:

“The station aims to reintroduce community radio to the vibrant thriving community of Stone. Of course we’re looking for presenters, but we’re looking for a whole lot more too!”

Stone Radio are looking for people to fill the following roles:

  • Sales
  • Recruitment
  • Sound Engineers
  • Journalists
  • Promotions & Marketing
  • Community Liaison Roles
  • Social Media Handlers
  • Web Masters/ Web Designers
  • Producers
  • Receptionists
  • General Helpers

Being a team member is also about getting out and about and representing Stone’s own radio station at the biggest & best events in Town and the surrounding areas!
The majority of the volunteering hours will be weekends but being flexible is an asset.

If you’re interested then please pop down to their Open Evening at 7.30pm on Thursday 8th December 2016 at The Crown Hotel, High Street, Stone.
