There’s a day of live music at Christ Church Academy as Stone Rocks returns to the town on Saturday 9th July.
The event runs from noon to 4pm in the grounds of the school in Old Road.
There will be performances from CCA musicians, singers, dancers and artists past and present. Guests from Stone Young Musicians Collective, hosted by Ben Owen, will also perform, as well as bands from Weston Road Academy and Alleynes Academy and a joint orchestra with musicians from the Entrust Stafford training wind band.
Food will include paella, burgers and hot dogs provided by The Mill, pizza from the school’s very own pizza oven, ice cream and hot and cold drinks. There will also be a face painter and the return of the very popular model steam train from last year will also be adding to the festival feel on the day.
Here are some photos and video from last year’s event:
Wrist bands can be purchased from the school in advance or on the day. Adults £3 and children £1 (under-fives are free).
