Stone Rugby Club launch Youth Rugby section

Stone Rugby Club have announced that they will be establishing a youth ‘tag rugby’ section for the upcoming rugby season.

Stone Rugby Youth Section
The section, initially open to those born between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2010, has been opened due to repeated demand from local parents.

The club’s launch comes at a time where Rugby Union is reporting an increase in playing numbers with growth in the amount of those playing non-contact forms of the game. The number of females playing the game has also grown.

No specialist equipment is needed for the first few weeks, although a pair of rugby or football boots may become invaluable!
