The lineup for the first 2024 Stone Street Food event on Friday, May 17th, has been announced, and foodies will be spoilt for choice with the global flavours on offer.
The event, which takes place in Stone High Street from 3:00pm – 9:00pm, is free to enter and is organised by Stone Traders’ Group in partnership with the team behind the annual Stone Food & Drink Festival.
Stone Street Food will take place on the third Friday of every month from May through October, with the aim of bringing visitors into town and boosting trade for local businesses.
The lineup of street food vendors for May’s inaugural event includes Mukasse Afro-Caribbean street food; game specialists Wild Street Kitchen; Smashing it Burgers’ dirty burgers; wood-fired pizza from award-winning Stone eatery Proven Pizzeria; vegan Indian food from Nelly’s Delhi; hotdogs, loaded fries and nachos from Schnook’s food truck; popcorn chicken, halloumi fries & more from Food Folks; crepes, coffee & bubble tea from Ritual Brew; authentic Thai cuisine from Thai to Go; Turkish street food from Istanbul’s Kitchen and fresh, sugared mini doughnuts from Dippy Doughnuts. Vintro Bar will serve up cocktails, wine and craft beers from its converted horsebox bar while Stone’s great choice of bars and pubs will also be on hand when you’ve worked up a thirst.
The May edition of Stone Street Food will take place from 3-9pm on Friday 17th May. Other dates include – Friday 21st June, Friday 19th July, Friday 16th August, Friday 20th September & Friday 18th October.
