Stone Town Council is driving towards the High Street starting line of a classic car event featuring around 60 classic cars.

A Motor Spectacle in the Heart of Stone

On Saturday, 23rd September 2023, Stone Town Council invites everyone to witness (for free) a remarkable display of automotive history. From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Stone High Street and Market Square will be converted into a classic car haven, showcasing around 60 classic cars from different eras.
(A road closure on High Street will take effect from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing only the participating classic cars to access the area during this period.)

Local Talent Takes the Wheel

Peter Cresswell, a local resident and member of the Stone Classic Car Group, has taken the initiative to coordinate the assembly of these historic beauties. Cresswell and his colleagues have pulled together an extraordinary line-up that promises to thrill automotive enthusiasts and casual admirers alike.

Milestones and Special Displays

This year’s event comes with a trio of special displays:

  • Celebrating 100 years of MG
  • Honouring 70 years of Triumph Sports Cars
  • Marking 60 years of the Mini Cooper S

These milestone displays offer a unique chance to delve into the histories and stories behind these iconic brands.
