Earlier this week, Stone Town Council launched their own official Facebook page, focusing on Town Council news and events.
The page aims to provide information about the work the Council does, its assets, and its areas of responsibility in addition to news and events.
Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee, said:

“I am pleased that the Council now has a presence on social media, and I am sure it will prove to be a great source of information for visitors to the town and residents of Stone, past and present.
I would encourage people to follow and like the Page to make sure they’re up-to-date with Council news and events.”
