The Club will be run by General Manager Richard Jones and Team Manager Steven Slater, and hopes to participate in the Wolverhampton & District Football Combination League, pending full confirmation at the league’s upcoming AGM. The club will be based at The Outlanes Sports Ground, Old Road, Stone.

He has welcomed us on board, allowed us to use the Outlanes as our base, and also to use the name of his club.

“We approached him initially because our priority was to play in the town itself and there is literally no other venue in Stone that has the changing facilities required to participate in Saturday football.

Hopefully it will be the start of Saturday football returning to the town having been without appropriate facilities for so long.” [/box]

The Club are now on the lookout for people who would like to get involved in any capacity.

“We would like to find a main club sponsor as our first priority, and any other local companies or businesses who may be able to contribute, no matter how little. We would also like to hear from anyone who would like to play, or be involved behind the scenes – we will start training on Saturday June 11th. Obviously, once the season starts we would like welcome people down to the ground to support the team.”
