Stone training company expands for 2014

One of the UK’s leading training companies that is based in Stone has taken on new staff to cope with the expanded services it offers the licensed, hospitality, leisure events and tourism industries.

abv Training, which was established in September 2001 and is based on the Whitebridge trading estate in Stone, will be rolling out BII Level 4 Certificate in Multiple Licensed Premises Management (MLPM) courses early in the new year.

Staff at abv Training will also shortly be running new ‘Whisky Ambassador’ courses for licensed trade professionals to help them maximise sales and cash in on the whisky-drinking boom across the UK.

To cope with the extra business and to help consolidate its increasing share of the training market, the company has taken on a number of new hires.
