A team of determined triathletes from Stone are competing in tournaments all over the country to raise money and awareness for a male cancer charity.
Russell Cox, James Cox and Mike Keeling have already competed in eight triathlons since May and hope to rack up around 25 of the endurance events by the end of November for the Everyman charity.
Triathlons are high-endurance events that involve a swim in open waters of 1.2 miles, a 26-mile cycle and then a six-mile run.

Russell wanted to raise money for Everyman after recovering from testicular cancer. He’s also an ambassador for the charity and visits schools to raise awareness of the disease. Russell has teamed up with brother James and brother-in-law Mike to complete the challenge and together they’re called Team Everyman.
The trio hope to raise £5,000 from their amazing fundraising year. Have a look at their Just Giving page to donate here. You can find photos, videos and more here from Team Everyman’s brilliant Facebook pages.
Upcoming triathlons for the team are at the North West Triathlon on 5th September, Derby on 12th September, Tatton Park on 18th September and Warwick on 3rd October. Quite a schedule!
Good luck lads! It’s an amazing thing you’re doing.
