Stone Youth Club – Stone Crossroads – celebrates first anniversary

Stone Crossroads

Stone Crossroads, the Monday night youth club for kids in Stone, has paid tribute to all those who have helped the organisation reach its first year of operation.

Stone Crossroads Chairman Steve Walley said:

“As we celebrate our first anniversary, we want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers, parents, kids, sponsors, and supporters who have been part of our journey. Your enthusiasm and support have been instrumental in our success, and we are really looking forward to the year ahead.

We’d also like to say a massive thanks to the Church at the Crossing for providing us with such a wonderful venue for the youth club.

The club will be re-opening on the 9th of September, and we’ll be publishing our schedule of events soon but in the meantime, we’d like to make you aware of some important updates.”

Steve provided some club updates:

As we move forward, we would like to inform you of some important changes that will help us manage the club more effectively and ensure the safety of all members:

  • New Gate Locking Policy: Starting next month, the front gates will be locked at 6:15 PM, 15 minutes after opening, and will reopen at 7:55 PM. This measure is to enhance security and safety for all attendees.
  • Age Group Confirmation: We would like to remind everyone that our club is designed specifically for children aged 8-12. Members are welcome to continue enjoying the club up until their 13th birthday.

Opportunities for Older Members

Article continues after this message

We are excited to offer volunteer opportunities for our members who are now aged 13+ but would like to stay involved. This is a great way to gain new skills, give back to the community, and stay connected to the club.  If this is something your child would like to do, please reach out and contact us through our Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/StoneCrossroads/
