Stone’s Civic Sunday – Parade and Church Service

Civic Parade

On Sunday, the 14th of July, the Civic Parade and Church Service will take place through the town.

The parade will assemble in Station Road and move off at 10.30am, before proceeding via the High Street to St Michael and St Wulfad’s Church.

Members of the public are most welcome to join the Town Mayor, Mayoress and Town Councillors for this occasion.

To allow the event to take place, road closures will be in place, and the approximate times are as follows:

• Station Road through to the crossing over to the High Street: 8.00am – 10.45am

• High Street: 8.00am – 11.00am

• Lichfield Street through to the crossing at the lower end of High Street onto Church Street: 10.30am – 11.00am (traffic held to allow the parade to process to church)
