The beautiful grounds of Oulton Abbey will be playing host to the village’s fete and garden party on Saturday 11th July.
The organisers are hoping to match or even better the success of last year’s event, with another record year. There will be various stalls selling plants, cakes and jams, as well as traditional stalls such as a white elephant, tombola and raffles. Musical entertainment will be provided courtesy of Oulton First School Choir, and there will be the opportunity to test your stamina with a gruelling tug o’ war.
The ever-popular dog show makes a welcome return, too. Refreshments will be on hand in the form of a barbecue, plus tea and cakes, a beer tent for the dads, as well as Pimms and strawberries.
So why not make a date in your diary for Saturday 11th July, between 1pm and 4pm for what looks set to be a great fun-filled afternoon out for all the family.
All proceeds after expenses will go to Oulton Village Hall maintenance.
