A street party will be held in Stone on Sunday 12th June to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
A beacon was lit at the top of St Michael’s Church on 21st April to mark the Queen’s 90th. And now comes a street party in the High Street to mark the Queen’s ‘official’ birthday.
The street party is being organised by Stone Festival, with the support of the town council, and gets under way at 12pm. Food and drink will be on sale, but you can take along a picnic too. There will be music and entertainment as well.
More information will be available on the festival website soon.
The event takes place on the final day of the 2016 Stone Festival – you can see the full programme of events HERE
